Frequently Asked Questions
Neuropsychological testing is a comprehensive evaluation that helps to assess how an individual’s brain is functioning. Specifically, the evaluation assesses an array of abilities including memory, attention, processing speed, language, visuo-perceptual, motor, executive functioning (i.e., planning, problem solving, etc.), and mood/behaviors to best identify an individual’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses. Testing consists of mostly paper-pen and some computer-based measures.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Each neuropsychological appointment is specifically scheduled and set aside for you. Therefore, it is requested that you please provide a minimum of 24-hour notice if you must reschedule or cancel your appointment. We understand that there are situations that occur last minute which may impact your ability to make your appointment, however, please call and inform the office 732-243-0994 if you need to cancel or reschedule as this will allow time for us to fill the opening. That said, if you cancel in less than 24 hours or no show for your appointment, you will be charged a $50 cancellation/no show fee.
